I spent the day cruising around Boulder in search of both long- and short-term living situations. Short-term is dealt with, but I had to write a big, fat check that I didn’t want to write. I’ll get it back, it’s just a screwball operation wherein I pay a full month’s deposit, plus one month of rent — for one month of residence. Then I get the deposit back.
The point is that I was considering a double-barreled Red Rocks weekend for the big-F Fourth (of July, that is). RC and I are headed to see Wilco on the little-T third, and it’s hard not to think about the show the next day, which I’d really be seeing for its opening act, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears. But that’s not looking good because… well… take it, Joe:
